Fleur de Pomme Patisserie
In 2018, 17 year old Pastry Culinarian Kaliope Mihalic opened Fleur de Pomme Patisserie, a dream of hers that has finally had a chance to become reality. Fleur de Pomme is the sister company under Ambrosia Catering Company, LLC located in Strasburg, VA. Kaliope Mihalic has been involved and won multiple competitions with her wondrous baking. She has studied under her father Chef Raymond Mihalic, owner of Ambrosia Catering Company, and has had a passion and skill for Pastry arts from a very young age. “I love baking because the memories of the process and working with the people in the community makes me smile. Being able to help their dreams come true makes my dreams become certainty and it’s the best feeling in the world.” says Pastry Culinarian Kaliope Mihalic. By combining her southern roots with classic French Pastry, she has come up with a unique style in the baking world. “For example, I can take something so plain as an éclair. Then add banana pudding and Vanilla wafers and turn it into something the world has never seen.” Through her hard work and determination, a reality it has become.
From a simple elegant buttercream cake to an eight tier fondant cake with intricate lace. Any job no matter how small or large we can create a masterpiece!
